Description
Astral Redo
Astral Redo is a remake of the original astral mod. It replaces standard Minetest sky behavior with a dynamic system that tracks lunar cycles, as well as both lunar and solar events.
- Lunar Cycles: Tracks 8 distinct moon phases with unique textures.
- Solar Events: Includes the rainbow sun, ring of fire, crescent sun, and solar eclipse.
- Lunar Events: Includes the blood moons, ash moon, blue moon, harvest moon, golden moon, super moon, and black moon.
- Interactive Calendars: Lunar and Solar calendars that show current or upcoming events.
Calendars
- Left Click (Use): Toggles between Current Event and Next Special Event.
Calendar Nodes
- Interaction: Right-click the placed node to toggle its display mode.
Technical Information
- Day Offset: Randomized per-world to ensure different worlds have different event schedules.
- Light Ratios: Modifies day-night light levels during different events

Removes "Vibrant Sun" event type.
Makes stars much more realistic.
Changes Ring of fire to Solar Eclipse moving an existing texture to ring of fire.
Dynamically adjusts the day/night ratio depending on the event.
Adds api for registering custom events for certain phases.
Adjust the sky colors accordingly.
Make nether NOT show the sun/moon/stars/clouds. Have a hardcoded color.
Add calendar blocks and items to show the current phase and the next upcoming phase.
