Description
cinematic_zoom
A simple mod that replaces the built-in zoom feature with a cool looking animation.
Might lag on servers, but it is multiplayer compatible.
It's also very customizable in the mod settings, from the speed of the animations to what key you press to activate it.
It even has sound if you enable it in the settings!

cool for youtube vids
for example, movie-like videos or showcases, or just simple gameplay, that animation is just cool!
Fun
I like it. I think the animation of zooming in is easier to use than the instant zoom. I think instant zoom is jarring and disorientating sometimes as it's a sudden shift to a new image. Whereas the zoom animation helps track the zoom focus easier and transition from normal to zoomed. I added it to MeseCraft after testing this out a bit. I'll test it more and if it functions well, it'll probably stay in that game/modpack. Thanks!
