Great base defense
Turret adds simple automated defense to your Minetest world; drop a turret, and it starts shooting enemies on sight. It’s plug-and-play protection, great for base defense in survival or PvP without diving into complex tech trees or Lua code. Visually, the turrets are pretty bare-bones, more “practical machinery” than eye candy, but they get the job done. They don’t need ammo or configuration either, which makes them a bit overpowered in casual settings, though server owners can always tweak them for balance. There’s no targeting logic or upgrade paths, so don’t expect sentry-gun-level strategy. But for quick defense, it’s hard to beat.
