Description
This mod adds more slopes to Advtrains' default tracks, straight ones ranging from 4 to 8 nodes long, and 45° ones ranging from 3 to 6 nodes long.
All models provided in the mod were made by me (Nazalassa) and are based on the default advtrains 2-node-long slope models, originally by DS-minetest under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license.

More elegant railway, more smooth for the passenger
The mod allows for a good smoothing of the slopes, something I've wanted for a long time. I started with an old railway on my server and the test section became much more elegant. As a passenger, I felt the pitch transition was much more comfortable. So, I highly recommend it.
Better building
You can build railways in plain land better, you can better do end of slope tracks. For a long time needable type of tracks. But one remark have I: could you edit the icon of placer? Same icon for 2-3 node slopes placer and 4-8 node slopes placer is confusing.
Much needed addition
While advtrains is much much much better than the standard minecart mods (that are totally fine) it still has too tight curves and too steep slopes in comparison to (standard) trains, which you notice easily both easily and outside when the train is going around curves or up/down hills.
This mod addresses this with less steep slopes improving the experience significantly.
Only downside is that (AFAICT from the git version, didn't check the ContentDB release) there is no crafting recipe for the new slope placer. But that is easily added.
Thank you Nazalassa!
