This mod add players ability to make their oven sculpture/statue.
- Only tin block is supported as sculpture material now (punch sculpture pedestal with tin or gold block in hand)
- No space for errors. What you cut out, cannot be restored.
- Use in mod included chisel and hammer to cut material from the sculpture. Place hammer below chisel In your inventory.
- Use it with mod painting 3 to enable painting on sculptures with oil colors.
- "Shaders" have to be enabled in minetest settings to look well (on the client-side).
To make sculpture, place pedestal and punch it with sculpture base material. After it, take chisel and hammer (below chisel in inventory) and cut out excessing material to make final sculpture. When sculpture is finished, punch pedestal again to get it like item into inventory. Finished sculpture can be place like node or place back to pedestal (by punch pedestal with sculpture in hand).
Sculpture node uses 6 entities. So, if you want to have many sculptures near to each others, it can be necessary to adjust server number of objects limit (max_objects_per_block).
Cool mod
This is an interesting mod, I enjoyed making a sculpture. The only things I would do is add more blocks that can be used to make scuptures and remove the message that says ''Be patient. This work takes some time'' and disallows you from making your sculpture finished faster. If you could rate with stars, I would give 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Realtime nodeboxing
This is the way for achieving something like Minecraft Chisel and bits or Vintage Story chiseling.
A different concept approach is Wesh.
It would be cool to place microblocks too, and to restore errors. Ctrl+Z , selecting microblock size, maybe 1, 2³, 4³, 8³, and click and drag a selection box like recent mod Build Easy Box does with nodes.
Needing the hammer below the chisel in the inventory gets realistic in survival, In creative mode you could avoid that requirement.
