adds a creepy cornfield biome, the biome looks nice, and supplies you with a very plentiful food source, but this biome has a dark secret, hidden in its fields.....

Corngirl Texture
I read the other comments, and they were absolutely helpful, so I decided to jump into creative mode and explore the area for myself. At first, it just looked like a normal field of corn, and I almost thought nothing special was happening. But after reading the last review from someone who explored it too, I got curious and decided to dive deeper—and that’s when I found the Corn Girl! Honestly, I’m so glad I wasn’t in survival mode, because I don’t think I would’ve survived the surprise. The mod itself is amazing, and the attention to detail in the cornfield and the character is incredible. I’ve been waiting to see the Corn Girl for so long, and it totally lived up to the hype. Definitely one of the coolest mods I’ve tried!
Was it worth it?
I'll be honest: I originally played the mod with creative mode. After flying over a field of corn, I came to the conclusion that the only scary thing was the ominous valley effect, as I found nothing and no one. Having created a new world using the same mod, but already with a survival mode, I set out to explore it. Having found a field of corn, I decided to build a house near it, as it was a free source of food. And so the night came... I went out of the house to make some changes to the architecture of my dwelling. And then I heard a scream. I got scared and ran behind the house, but there was someone running and screaming at me there too. As you can see, I did not survive. Mod is recommended, 5 out of 5.
It's Aight :D
Initially I reviewed this as "Underwhelming and Deafening" and as negative, but I'm giving it a new re-review :3
I still personally believe that LissoBone's review is overrated but at the time of typing this, April 20th of 2024, it's definitely better than when I first reviewed the 4th. I still personally think there could be more added - more monsters, more dynamicism to growing the corn (or rather a purpose to growing it as it appears in the files you can grow it), and perhaps some lore.
The sounds are nice 'n scary and you'll never exactly know when you'll bump into a corngirl ready to reap your soul X3 The models and corn are nice and unique in design as well.
omg (oh my god) it's legit scary especially when i attempted tO RUN AWAY RUN AWAY RUN AWAY RUN AWAY
(i fixed the bug by reducing 'min_hp' to 0, might be something between 0 and 20000)
the corngirl (with her 4 sisters which were born in an anomalous cloning splurge) very unexpectedly and belligirently walked out of the corns into an opening and began chasing me, trying to wear my player down. but i am wise and did not react to provocations and dashed out of their view and on a nearby acacia where my old body now resides permanently
the texture of the corngirl is just amazing (fantastic (cocacolastic)), i can't not betray my awe, it fits the sound and the corny environment perfectly
the corn satiated my hunger rather well; i didn't happen to get hit by the girl once, but i am sure that corn would be able to keep the player up, given that her damage isn't lethal (idk about damage yet, it's just a hypothesis)
(the 'unhelpful' reviews are from those whose girl got corned)
