Description
Logistica is an item transport, distribution and storage mod.
Logistica 2.0 🔗
Version 2.0.0 is a massive update packed with new machines, smarter storage, and a powerful automation layer.
The core principle behind this mod is that item transportation is demand-driven: no item is moved unless it is needed somewhere.
Guide Book 🔗
An in-game Guide Book is now avaiable, crafted like so:
On crafting grid:
---
Silver Sand
Paper
Silver Sand
Features 🔗
New in 2.0 🔗
Full Signal and Automation System 🔗
Signal senders monitor the world : timers, item counters, external node readers, player switches and buttons, and Digilines and Mesecon inputs. These signals pass through AND/OR/NOT/XOR/ADDER logic gates, then drive receivers: machine togglers that connect/disconnect network machines when signaled, status lamps in multiple colors, and Mesecon and Digilines outputs for cross-mod automation.
New Resource Gathering Machines 🔗
- The Farming Supplier auto-plants and harvests crops in a configurable area around it, with an optional Sprinkler Upgrade for faster growth.
- The Woodcutter fells trees automatically and can strip leaves with a Leafcutter Upgrade.
Access Point as Network Hub 🔗
Install the optional Recursive Crafting Upgrade in the Easy Crafting tab, and search for any item, and craft items recursively (items which are missing but can be crafted will be crafted first)
A new Storage Management tab lets you configure Mass Storage slot reservations and demand targets without touching individual nodes.
Mass Storage Overhaul 🔗
Mass Storage nodes got a complete rework. Each slot now has its own Reserve setting (items that will never be taken by automation), and a new Demand target (request up to that amount from network), and a checkbox whether to pull from Crafting Suppliers or not.. A new Multiplexer Upgrade expands a node's capacity up to 16x!
Additional Features 🔗
- Improved Guidebook : In-game Guidebook now features a search field.
- Insulated Cables : straight and L-shaped cable variants that won't accidentally connect to adjacent network nodes, making clean and deliberate network routing much easier
- Item Monitor : tracks storage amounts of up to 8 items over time with a rolling graph and per-point tooltips; configurable polling interval
- Machine Disassembler : recovers materials from Logistica machines you no longer need
- Network Access Control : owner and access list on the Network Controller; non-owners are blocked from taking or moving items; optional protection-area visibility toggle
- Passive Supply Chest : expanded to 32 slots; separate toggles for machine input vs. access point input
- Request Inserter : filter slots now use numeric amounts (up to 9999) instead of item stacks, making precise pull requests much easier to configure
- Vacuum Chest : configurable pickup radius (1-3 nodes)
- Wireless Access Pad range upgrades : the pad tooltip shows the linked network name
- Mesecon Signaler / Mesecon Sender : bridge between the Logistica signal system and Mesecons
- State copy tool: easily copy-paste a signal machine or request inserter/network importer around.
Existing and improved features 🔗
- Access all your Storage remotely via Wireless Access Pad
- Portable liquid storage: Reservoirs - also acceessable wirelessly, and fillable via automatic Pumps.
- Portable mass storage: Mass Storage nodes can be dug and carried around, keeping their content.
- On-demand transportation lets you equally distribute items across multiple machines without complex splitting logic
- Storage is part of the network, it can both accumulate items and supply them to any machines
- No entities used for moving items, resulting in far less lag.
- On-demand, recursive crafting: Using Crafting Suppliers can craft from your stored items only when you need it!
Supports Minetest Game, VoxelLibre, Mineclonia, Asuna, and many others 🔗
This mod requires one of two sets of mods:
- Either:
defaultandbucket- usually included in anyminetest_gamebased games - Or:
mcl_coreandmcl_buckets- included inVoxelLibreandMineclonia
Support of MCL comes thanks to ThePython10110 on github.
Mod compatibility 🔗
This mod uses a generic system to take or put items from other nodes' inventories, even allowing the user to pick from target in most cases. Thus Logistica attempts to be universally compatible, and requires no special functions to be implemented in other mods for them to be compatible.
most interesting minetest mod i used so far
i agree with most of the design decisions here, and the cobble generator is awesome. some textures are still "primitive" and theres room for improvement like the furnace and acess point.
no bugs so far and i am using it a lot, this is much nicer than pipeworks but both still have distinct features.
nice item transport mod for mass storage
sorry for asking but could you add techage compatibility
Fast and effective!
In my opinion this mod is much better than Pipeworks. It's faster, but it has more features. The on-demand item request system is brilliant, and makes automatic machines much easier to control. And as an added blessing, Logistica doesn't suffer from the documentation-was-an-afterthought disease that plagues many software projects; the wiki is useful and complete. And while the textures might not match the steam-punk vibe of a lot of the Minetest mods, it's well-drawn and consistent. I definitely recommend this mod!
If there's one thing that I find slightly annoying, it's the narrow cables that require a bit of aiming to successfully hit.
Best item transportation mod so far
To become absolutely perfect it needs less sci-fi-ish look, so it can fit in more visual themes. Like idk, digtron looks
Well documented Refined Storage port to minetest
The mod is well featured and doesnt fall into the common issue of tech based mods not providing enough documentation to actually get into without peeping the source code, extremely useful mod for mass storage of items if you are in a technical setting or otherwise, definitely something ive been looking for a while..
a good mod
It's a pretty good mod; so far it hasn't given me any errors. I haven't tested it 100% yet, but from what I've seen, it's working well and it's interesting. A mod that doesn't have other options is unique.
Wonderful mod, reminds me of a minecraft mod
Wonderful mass storage mod to pair with other mods like techage, digtron, and technic!
Though it reminds me alot of the minecraft mod "Applied Energetics 2"
meine meinung
sehr gut lauft perfekt :)))
Very useful storage and automation mod
This is currently my favorite storage mod, thanks to the many features that make your items easy to access and move around. The crafting supplier is especially with mods that add complex recipes such as technic. The documentation also explains everything you need to know to use this, and is even avaliable in-game. This is a mod that I would reccomend, and something that you should definitely try.
Suggestion: I don't know if this would be possible, but i would like to see a toggleable cable that can toggle itself based on certain configurable criteria. It could disable/enable itself when you have more or less than x amount of x items, or when there is a certain number of free slots left in a tool/passive supplier chests, and revert once that condition is no longer met. This could allow a storage to disable the smelting of iron lumps if you have more than 200 iron ingots.
автоматизация разных рецептов в игре.
этот мод позволяет автматизировать разные рецепты в игре. Например: автопереплавка в печи. Но чтобы этот мод был ещё лучше пожалуйста:
This is the best storage mod!
The greatest storage mod so far but can it work with Tech Age autoamtion and Machines?
Edit: there is an issue and I have no idea how to trigger it:
AsyncErr: Lua: Runtime error from mod 'logistica' in callback node_on_timer(): /usr/share/minetest/builtin/common/vector.lua:380: attempt to index local 'v' (a nil value) stack traceback: /usr/share/minetest/builtin/common/vector.lua:380: in function </usr/share/minetest/builtin/common/vector.lua:379> [C]: in function 'get_node' ...x/.minetest/mods/logistica/logic/lava_furnace_fueler.lua:53: in function <...x/.minetest/mods/logistica/logic/lava_furnace_fueler.lua:48>
Really useful
Really useful but, as always, there's room for improvement.
