Features 🔗
- Adds a new Rubber Tree to the World, that you can find
- This tree can be cut down, and made into Planks, Stairs and Slabs
- some Stuff can be made from it too
- You can craft the treetap, a block, that can be attached to rubber trees to harvest their resource: rubber resin
- the rubber resin then can be put in the furnace, and made into different things
- one of these things are the rubber boots: they reduce the amount of fall damage you receive by 60%
- another use is making a rubber block out of it. This block acts like a trampoline and also negates fall damage completely
Notes 🔗
- it is a mod designed to run with MineClone2 and MineClone5, and extends it's gameplay, it is also not really designed as a standalone mod, but an enhancement to other tech related mods.
- if you want to make sure, that your mod is compatible with this one, you can just use group:rubber in your crafting recipes for one piece of rubber.
- it also uses an internal library, that will be split of eventually, but for now it's part of it; One less dependency to worry about for you.
- once installed, you can configure the mod to your liking using the config options listed in the settings screen.
- By default the mod is configured to keep sapling drops below replacement rate. If that is too dificult, you can just change the drop multiplier in the settings

Lackluster and Difficult to Grow
Although I've only used this mod in
sirmikeprovolone.ddns.netat port30000;The saplings are incredibly difficult to get, most times not dropping at all for the tree, leading to a net negative harvest. One time only getting 1 sapling from 4 trees.
And for what you get as features, is incredibly lackluster. All you get is a rubber block, rubber boots, and another way to make sticky pistons... Of which the only uctually useful feature is the sticky piston. It's difficult to tell when the rubber is ready, however fortunately requires harvest on rightclick - preventing any accidental destruction as you don't need to left click.
The only positive thing going for this beyond the sticky pistons is that the tree taps are relatively cheap to make and work similarly to cocoa on jungle tree logs. I otherwise do not recommend this mod for the above reasons (though there is admittedly no mod otherwise for rubber trees)
add rubber armor too
rubber armor should increase knockback (when hit) , but decrease fall damage significantly , additionally damage from swords below iron should be negated
