Adds a massive spoonful of real flowers and plants to existing biomes! Use me as immersion enhancement & decoration, or crafting material for additional mods!

Climate-Based Flower Placement 🔗

Flowers are faithfully placed near the closest approximation of their natural habitat based on information from the National Audubon Society's Wildflowers Of North America Handbook.

• For example. Trilium prefer to grow in open coniferous forests. So in vanilla minetest trillium will be found in coniferous_forest. And likewise in Mineclonia, trillium will be found in the Taiga.

There are no additional crafting recipes, or mechanics of any kind. It's simply a large libre collection of flowers designed to resemble nature as closely as possible across as many different games as possible.

Biome Mod Integration 🔗

As explained above, plants will be generated in the biome that is the closest approximation of their natural habitat. Mods such as ebiomes, ethereal, and everness add additional secondary and tetriary biome types. If these mods are installed flower placement will also consider the biomes provided by these mods.

i.e. African Marigold are endemic to the near jungle-like steppes of South America. In vanilla minetest/mineclonia, African Marigold will only spawn in the Jungle or rainforest biomes. Because that's about as accurate as we can get in the base game.

• rainforest If ebiomes is installed, African Marigold will spawn in:
• rainforest
• humid_savanna If both ebiomes and ethereal are installed, the range is further extended and marigold will spawn across:
• rainforest
• humid_savanna
• mesa
• baobab_savanna
