Simple Mail 🔗

Configurable and easy to use mod for Luanti and minetest_game that adds in-game mail system.

This mod is a Work-In-Progress. It may contain bugs and any part of the mod can be suddenly changed. Don't use it on live servers.

How to use 🔗

Open inventory (i) and navigate to a new tab called Mail. The tab provides mail system in an easy to use interface.

When player receives a message, a notification sound is played and a chat message is shown. Received mail can be read in the inventory tab.

When player joins a server, a notification is displayed showing amount of new messages if it's more than zero.

Additionally, it's possible to enable a setting (in Luanti settings for this mod or by using settingtypes.txt described below) that enables the need to have an envelope to send a mail. This is intended for survival gameplay to facilitate some "cost".

An envelope can be crafted with the following recipe:

Each message sent will cost one envelope.

Settingtypes 🔗

Mod provides configuration options, accessible either in Luanti client settings or by putting configuration options and their values directly into your minetest.conf.
