Almost everyone has heard of the ability to vote the night away and make it day, maybe to avoid monsters or just see better or whatever, but what about the ability to vote for night?
This is a simple mod. You run the command /vote_night and then /yes and others can vote /yes or /no or /abstain to skip voting.
I got the idea because I might try my hand at either making a vampire mod similar to the massivecraft vampire mod in minecraft, or if the creator is willing, might try to contribute to the existing vampire mod I recently saw.
There is also astralcraft which has an interesting night mechanic.
This mod is essentially the vote_day mod but with all day changed to night. I may or may not attempt a gui or something.
