What is Better Minetest? 🔗
"Better Minetest" is a "Vanilla Plus" mod that adds some things that don't exist in the default Minetest game, without losing its essence, adding only the essentials and maintaining the base game's space so you can add the mods you like.
This mod could be an option for new players who don't know which mods to choose to start their adventures and have a different experience, something I wish I had found!
I started creating this mod when I saw an addon called "Realismcraft", and although the objective is completely different, it was a starting point, as I wanted a mod that would improve my experience in the Minetest game.
There are still several things I would like to add and I will do so gradually in new updates.
What does it add? 🔗
- Some decorations in biomes, caves, and oceans
- Particles
- Simple player animation
- HUD for armor
- Adds new doors and trapdoors
- New stones and stairs
- Simple farming
- Some animals
- Some monsters (working on them)
- Some other things...
Note: 🔗
- The armor bar will not appear if you install the "hudbars" mod.
- Ocean decorations don't appear if you install the "marinara" mod.
- Crops from "BTMT" will not appear if you have installed the "x_farming" or "crops" mod to avoid duplicating items.
- Animals will not appear if you choose to install "Mobs Animals" or "Animalia".
- Monsters will not appear if you install "Mobs Monsters".
