Gravity gun reloaded 🔗
This mod adds the gravity gun to the game.
Features 🔗
- Pick up mobs and push them around
- Push mobs away
- Pull mobs from a far distance
- Pick up nodes as if they were mobs
- Soft phycics for node entities
- Attach hacks to make the gun feel less laggy
- Beautiful model (credit to Melkor)
Uber and regular gravity gun 🔗
There are 2 types of gravity gun, regular (orange) and uber (blue). They're exactly the same except the uber version can also pick up blocks
Controls 🔗
When not holding anything 🔗
Right click - Pick up mob/block Right click at a distance - Pull the mob closer Left click - Blow away the mob/block
When holding something 🔗
Shift right/left click - Pull it closer/further away Right click - Gently put it down Left click - Push it away
Node soft physics 🔗
There is a rudementary physics system for node entites. First of all, there is gravity (wow). Nodes have a "weight" value based on their hardness, heavier objects deal more damage and are harder to move
The friction of the nodes is also taken into account, blocks like ice will skim on the floor

Fooling Around with Physics
Gravity Gun Reloaded injects a fresh burst of chaos-friendly physics into Luanti. Snatching mobs, pulling them from afar, or launching them across the map is instantly satisfying, and the addition of physics for blocks gives every throw its own quirky personality. The model blends naturally with the game’s aesthetic, and even the über version is less a building aid and more a glorious tool for messing around.
It’s a clear step up from the other similar mod, which promised comparable mechanics but never reached this level of functionality, smoothness, or reliability. Here, everything behaves as you expect: no frustrating glitches, no inconsistent interactions, only pure and joyful physics.
Yet the experience doesn’t feel entirely complete. The absence of sound effects leaves interactions oddly muted; the mechanics are solid, but without audio cues, some actions simply lack the punch you’d expect from a proper gravity gun. It’s a small blemish on an otherwise thoughtful and well-crafted mod.
Overall, Gravity Gun Reloaded is fun, polished, and surprisingly smooth to use, you’ll just wish it sounded as good as it plays.
