Shuriken

Description

The textures and sound are from rangedweapons but the code is fully rewritten. It uses raycasting for collision detections.

Stop moving or sneak to gain more accuracy. Accuracy is indicated by the size of the circle. You'll also get a hit indicator if you hit a mob or player.

You can craft and throw shuriken and they will fly, spin, hit the mob or player and damage him or get stuck in a node. You can pick it up with left click.

Unlike rangedweapons I've intentionally not made them pass through leaves because that would make them hard to pick up.

    I Feel Like a Ninja

    Similar to my review for accuracy, I haven't used this mod for long. But so far it is smooth & fun. Shurikens stick into nodes after throwing & can be picked up for re-use. If player is moving around, aim won't be accurate. After moving, you need to hold still for a moment to regain your aim.

The spread pattern when you throw them is now circular rather than rectangular and air resistance was added to shorten the maximum throw distance. All materials have the same accuracy now.
