The package is a bit of a mess internally : there are images and sounds in the "model" folder. I suggest to sort this out and consider making a modpack (one mod per mob) if they won't share assets.
There is also two screenshots ("fang_capture*.png" ) that don't seem to be unused.
I "looked inside" because I am looking for mech-style mobs, but these seem to be on the "high-polygon" side (model files are about the same size as in Not So Simple Mobs) and I'm looking for "lowpoly" both for download size and look-and-fell. So I won't be able to review it.
In my opinion, going against the block-ish nature of voxel games is a fool's errand. Better embrace it than try to fight it.
The ccompression rate of model files is over 90% so it might be ok when you download the package, which is actually an archive as you know. That compression rate reduces files that are over a megabyte to a few dozens of kilobytes. I am not sure if the files are also compressed when downloaded from a game server, but in any case smaller is better.
I guess the expression "fool's errand" is more negative than I think it is. I could have used "swimming up the stream" instead, it is closer to what I have in mind. In any case, this is my opinion so it has to be right, but I won't hate on people who disagree.

tips are always appreciated, was there anything you liked about the mod?
why do you need it to be low poly?
Lowpoly for look-and-feel and download speed.

never really considered it to be "unholy" to use high poly meshes for the game, just trying to be creative/original.
i ask this with a curious tone (not combative or judgmental), why do you care?
