Vor me Quickbild is simply a must on a minigame server1. It's a chill game that you don't necessarily have to be good at anyone can play it and has a chance of wining.. Unfortunately the choice of words and ambiguity are a disaster in this game. Ambiguous-words that have different meanings in different languages make it even more difficult. It is playable, but the word list urgently needs to be revised. In addition it often ends in a draw :( (You can't play too far, so it always ends in a draw.) I would suggest perhaps building the game with a points system that awards more or fewer points depending on how quickly you guess the words..becors there is no alternative mod in Luanti,i recommend this one. I would be delighted if someone would revise it (If necessary, I would also help sort word)
Hello! With an agreement with MisterE, I recently became a (co-)maintainer of this ContentDB package and I am happy to report this mod has seen a TON of changes.
The word list system has been completely revised. The problem of word ambiguity is solved by introducing context.
If you guess, synonyms of words are also accepted now.
I also reworked the default word list completely to clean up some low-quality words.
I also added many new words, but not all of them are availble yet because Spanish, French and Italian translations are pending. (see here: https://codeberg.org/Wuzzy/luanti_quikbild/issues/18)
As for scoring, I added an optional time bonus in the arena settings. Words now award a fixed based score (1 by default) and an optional time bonus (0 by default) that is reduced by 1 each second. It must be manually enabled first in the arena settings first.
There is also a TON of other changes, check out the ContentDB release notes for 13.1.0 and later versions.
