Hello, I’ve just discovered your mod, but whether on a server or in singleplayer, I can’t manage to hatch an egg, and there are no recipes for the draconic_forge.
Thank you for the feedback. I will check and fix the crafting recipe for the draconic forge in the next update.
To hatch a Dragon egg:
1 - Build a 3×3 platform of Wet Bone Pile.
2 - Place the egg in the center, one node above the platform.
3 - Add a water source so that the egg is fully submerged.
4 - Wait approximately two minetest days.
If the conditions are met, the egg will hatch automatically.
Thanks for your reply. When you write “Place the egg in the center, one node above the platform,” do you mean that there must be a one-node air gap between the egg and the platform? Because otherwise, I had already tried several times before opening this thread: 40 minutes on a public server on 9 wet_bone_pile nodes, and the same amount of time on two local worlds, placing the platform in the corresponding biome (just in case that mattered). The second time, I only kept the mods 3D-armor, unified_inventory, mobs, and mobs_animal (for meat).
By the way, on this last local world, I managed to tame a dragon while holding cooked meat (raw meat didn’t work).
There must be no air gap between the egg and the platform. The egg should be placed directly on the center block of the 3×3 Wet Bone Pile platform and submerged in a water source.
If you already waited longer than two in-game days under these conditions, then this is not a setup issue but a bug. I will check the hatching logic.
I just tried placing a block of air between the egg and the platform, but it doesn’t move when it touches water, unlike when it’s placed directly in the center of the platform.
If the egg does not physically contact the platform, it behaves like a normal block and does not enter the hatching state. In that case, water contact alone is not sufficient.
Thanks for the review.

and I made sure that it lasted more than two in-game days
Thanks for the detailed explanation.
There must be no air gap between the egg and the platform. The egg should be placed directly on the center block of the 3×3 Wet Bone Pile platform and submerged in a water source.

And yes, only cooked meat works for taming.

Thank you !
If the egg does not physically contact the platform, it behaves like a normal block and does not enter the hatching state. In that case, water contact alone is not sufficient. Thanks for the review.
In the end, another player found a solution: blocking the egg’s buoyancy with a block above it so that it stays submerged in the water.
Interesting solution. If you put the egg in deep enough water, it will bounce but not out of the water.
But it first must enter the hatching state.
Thanks for the bug report of the crafting recipes for the Draconic forges.
