I think the armor system could be clearer. For example, armor_heal should actually block damage, and armor_use should reflect how many uses the item has. It would be helpful if armor scaled better with levels and if there was some real HP regeneration. Tooltips explaining what each fire level protects against would also be great. With adjustments like these, it would be much more intuitive and fun to use.
