X Bows already has its own target block. You don't need it.
I tried and X Bows also applies a velocity any entity it hits just like Next Gen Bows. The entity will fly out of the node making it walkthrough and broken.
There is no way to make an entity immovable in Luanti except to constantly set its position in the global step function which decided against.
