World edit exists already, this mod doesnt improve on the idea in any ways and as someone previously said uses extremely inefficient methods, if you are going to make an alternative, at least make it better than the original, this is just a stripped down version of world edit. im giving this a neutral because it does what its supposed too if not too well
AI almost literally copied the world_edit code, which I did not remember existed. I also wish to point out that I, at least, can never remember to put // in front of the command rather than /. There's no confusion in simple_replace_plus; each boundary is clearly staked out, and I told what it did. Were you expecting hidden 'bounty commands' that would 'edit' the mobs in the world for you?
I don't like placing each block in a wall; I'd rather have a mod do that. Yes, world_edit does have my equivelent of /fill, but it doesn't (correct me if I'm wrong) have any version of /airfill. For me, at least, it's easier, and it was targeted for beginners. This is meant to be simple, and while I don't have anything against world_edit (other than it's too complicated) I prefer to use my own plugin, and I thought maybe other people would too. Do you want a different mod for that? Go ahead. I made this mod for personal use, and I was willing to let other people use it. But if people press me, I will shut it down or ignore comments—which would hurt those who actually want something fixed.
I can be driven too far.
I'm not saying that little three-sentence comment can throw me off guard and make me take the mod down, but if you don't want it, don't use it. I'm not forcing it on you.
