But... the problem is that using the TA5 pump It pumps isobutane, but the pump The system says it's blocked and pumps 6 units of isobutane, but the TA5 heat exchanger (even with 5 kcal energy) doesn't turn on. How do I turn it on, how do I control the heat exchanger?
You need to make a video explaining how to build, use, and connect it, or else I'll cancel the project I'm working on at European techage and abandon the server forever because of it.
the TA5 Fusion Reactor is intentionally the most challenging build in TechAge. It's designed as the final technical challenge for experienced players who have worked their way through all five ages. That's why the documentation provides the essential information but doesn't include step-by-step video tutorials — figuring out the details is part of the challenge.
That said, here are a few hints to get you unstuck:
"Blocked" on the TA5 Pump means the destination is full or not connected. If it only pumps 6 units, the pipe network is not reaching all magnets. Check that the gas pipes connect properly to the magnet top/bottom sides.
The Heat Exchanger and Controller both show error messages when you try to start them. Read these messages carefully — they tell you exactly what's wrong (e.g. "Magnet detection error (7% found / 100% expected)").
Start order matters: Start the Heat Exchanger first, then the Controller. Both must run simultaneously.
Build without the shell first. Only add the shell once both blocks (Heat Exchanger & Controller) run without errors (except "Shell shape error").
The Controller requires 60 experience points. If the button does nothing, use /my_expoints to check your points.
