while I haven't fully experienced the mod yet, it does seem to have extremely useful items and looks like it would add an extra challenge if
A. Varkal actually did something other than walk around doing nothing (for the dev: I think part of that is in the fact his Sword is an unknown texture, so that might be a good place to start when looking into that issue if you haven't had time to yet)
and B. the bossbar actually showed his health and went away after you killed him...
also, you can craft the guide book and the guide book guide book, but the different stone type guide books are uncraftable.
I have also encountered massive lag spikes when Varkal spawns for the second or third time that don't go away until you restart the game...
question, would having the "Ancient stuff" mod enabled cause a conflict with this?

For Varkal: I'm not working on the Varkal you know right now, because I'm building a better version. So I think for now it will remain the "broken" one at least until the "Varkal Update".
For the bossbar: I worked on it a lot when I created Varkal, but I couldn't figure out how to add it, even looking at the Wither and Ender Dragon codes I didn't understand much... anyway for this one too you'll have to wait for the "Varkal Update". Although I'm not sure I'll be able to add one...
For the "Ancient Stuff" mod: In theory, even with the "Ancient Stuff" mod active, there shouldn't be any conflicts (except for crafting ones). However, I recommend not using mods like "Ancient Stuff" and "Copper Armor and Tools", because they are two mods that I created by taking codes from "Mystic Stones" so they are already present in the mod and also have more uses.
For guide books for the mystic stones: Now I create a new update for they. Is the "Better Update".
