Hi, I found out that expanding the hotbar doesn't move mineclonia's offhand slot, which is still somewhere in the middle, overlapping with the 3rd and 4th slot if you have 2 hotbar rows. This is only visible when wearing a shield or totem of undying in your offhand. I'm not sure how it's handled, but perhaps you could add a hack to simply hide the offhand entirely or move it further to the left.
Here is my attempt at moving the slot, I really messed up the math and just copypasted every hud.* I found to make sure it works, you WILL need to fix this, so don't merge it in quite yet: https://paste.debian.net/hidden/8f0b43c5
The only problem is the gap between the offhand and 1st hotbar slot, it shrinks/expands when changing the hotbar width because the math isn't mathing, and needs to be simplified.
This might break other games, so make it conditional (only apply to mineclonia/voxelibre), thanks!
Also, can you please not use CRLF (windows) newlines? They break everything, including diff.
If this patch fails to apply, you can run dos2unix init.lua.
Looks like your nearly there. When I equip something to the offhand slot, it first appears at the old position and then the box is being moved above. The final position looks good.
It used to work fine, but upon rejoining my server the next day, it started consistently changing position as seen here: https://freetard.net/p/ut31.mp4
(Note that this pastebin blocks Windows/iOS/macOS user agents, so spoof yours if you use any of those.)
Maybe don't have a timer, and instead trigger it whenever anything changes (equipping, re-equipping, durability change, etc.., similar to what I did)?
Restarting my server magically fixed it, so this is something that sometimes (not always) happens during init and persists until you restart I guess.

Don't hide it please - just move it more to the left - with a little empty space between so that it sets itself apart from the hotbar. Thanks.

dos2unix init.lua.ah sorry. I haven't played in a little while. I'll take a look as soon as possible.
@chud your pastbin seems to be missing.
edit-- nevermind, not sure why but it shows up after refreshing a few times.
I released version 1.1.0 that attempts a fix. may need further testing.
It seems to work fine, thanks! And lol, you just moved it up... why didn't I think of that? Problem solved I guess :)

geh. I guess I need to hardcode the position instead of trying to modify the original offset.
edit -- It's not doing that on my end though. do you have other mods that might be interacting with it?
There's still some work to do on it. I am looking into events but it seems that the global step would reposition it to original position either way
I don't think I have any other mods that could cause this, except Mineclonia's own offhand 'mod' of course.
pushed another update.
Looks good on my side. Jumping around is gone here. 🙂👍
