Change your perspective for a moment. You spend a total of a few hours making a mod, lets say it is a PvE mod. It makes areas blown up or otherwise damaged produce nettles, a node that presumably damages any entity in contact with it with a certain amount of damage.
Much later, you get your first review. It is from a person sad that the mod which states clearly that it damages things, that they downloaded with their own free will, killed their cow.
It is now apparently the fault of this mods developer that mobs_redo entities are completely blind to any nodes that damage them and are unable to evade them.
B-but.. my cow...
She was the most beautiful being any other mob had ever seen, and one day, all of sudden the smell of rotten meat encountes the nose of all other beings on the farm, their most loved friend wasn't there anymore, all that remains there is a mercyless plant, stained of blood on the sides. The other mobs run away from it, all of them scared to death, just to find that nettle has taken over the world's surface.
The nettle is an unholly being who must be stopped, hunted until extinction!
Or just deleted from your computer files.
The mod is really good, you can't dislike the mod because it killed your cow ?
Example: You download a mod that do damage, then you will complain about it because it made damage ?
If you are on singleplayer, you can revive your cow if it was so important...
Your Nettle brutally assassinated my only cow.
she didn't even drop leather
