Mod is completely fine except it isn't on Minetest v5.6.0 and I shouldn't have to downgrade just to use this mod

We'll probably support minetest 5.6 with the next version as no additional problems were found so far. If you install it manually it's going to work as well - just might crash sometimes.
I use minetest-5.6 with with version in development, which should be out somewhat soon.
