While it's certainly not a game with much (or any) gameplay it still does what it says on the tin - be a somewhat accurate recreation of Cave Game. The textures look nice although I might be a bit biased. :P
Continuing in the same vein I'd like to see a RubyDung/RubyRevived-esque game on Minetest which would take the game down a completely different path than Minecraft ended up becoming.
From what I can see RubyRevived is Cave Game plus some Minecraft: Order of the Stone [rd-20090515] blocks & random colouring. I'd planned to make MC:OotS as a mod that applies on top of this.
Taking MC but down a differnent path is something I'd like to see, but starting from Cave Game is a little early, could go anywhere from here as it's pretty much the bare minimum of a voxel game in MT…
personally, I agree with this, but there's very few stuff about rubydung game that there's only two screenshots of it. maybe one day we will find more info,
and who knows, maybe one day it will be revised into minetest.
