Package: GGraffiti
You take a spraycan and start painting on almost any surface. It doesn't produce anything weird or out of place, and doesn't take the space of a node.
downsides/limitations : (edit 13/07/24)
16 colors
can only erase one pixel at a time, which is very long
griefing risk?
paint stays in the air when the supporting node gets destroyed
uses entities (can cause lag, might disappear if entity per mapblock reached?)
idea : using it for cave paintings! edit: done! https://github.com/Lemente/cave_painting
Thank you for your review :-)
I've now done something about two of your points:
Graffiti is now removed when you dig the node it is attached to. Maybe this also partially fixes
as it allows you to remove all graffiti by just re-placing the node.
