Ah, okay then. I'll keep that in mind. My plan right now is to make a few other small updates, write proper documents about which new textures come from which sources, and then I'll make a patch request containing everything other than the changed name and branding.
I apologize for the inaction during all that time, I was busy with other things and kinda forgot about Minetest, but I have made a pull request to the GitHub repo that contains all the changes (except the ones where I added DX to the texture pack name and edited the description and such).
But why not submit PRs upstream?
When I took a look at the upstream repository, the last commit was dated 2 years ago, so I assumed it was an abandoned project.
It's true I'm not updating it. But if we merge your updates into the upstream repo, everyone using PP will get your updates (semi) automatically.
