The Ethereal mod is a must-have for Minetest as it improves the terrain generation so much. It also introduces many new cool blocks that would benefit from better textures (none 128x+ packs I have seen seem to support it).
In response to your message, please know that I haven't even covered all the blocks in the Minetest game yet. So, if I have to cover more blocks, it will take even more time. However, it could be a good idea for the future. Additionally, finding the time is a challenge because creating such textures is time-consuming.
But I will try to make progress and finish the textures for the Minetest game at the very least. After that, I'll see because if nobody is using my texture pack, there's no point in further development.
It's alright, take your time. For the record, I would be using your pack, if it had all textures I need (which includes Ethereal and Everness textures). I think the quality is superb, just doesn't make sense to use it when half of the world would be pixelated anyway.

//edit: Also, Everness
