I am sorry, I misunderstood the (admittedly, ambiguous) description. I thought that the item_magnet mod was a “tool for picking up items from the ground without having to click on each item”. This is why I tried to walk near/over each item. I expected this mod to let me pick up items or dug nodes without clicking them, but it did not do that (or anything).
Even with a range of 10 (What is the unit here?) not a single item got picked up when I walked over it.
