It started nicely with the introduction (albeit a bit too long) but then it immediately becomes frustrating with the wand mechanic. It's not intuitive, and starting from the begininning of the parkour area every time you fail doesn't help. I wasn't encouraged to continue after a few tries. Also, I don't understand how it fits the jam theme "unexpected"

I kinda agree that I could have done better regarding the theme. There is a slightly unexpected effect on your wand in room 5, but I see that for the most part it doesn't really have any "unexpectedness" to it.
(There is also a small plot twist at the end; you can do /grantme fly and skip through the levels to see it if you'd like :) )
Good new, I have made the parkour easier in the most recent version. I also changed the wand usage slightly to give the user the ability to stop flying at any time.
Zughy: in the end one of the wizards "helping" you ended up being the monster that stole the crystal. I believe that's where this fits into the unexpected theme.
