How can i see how it evolves over time or report issues? without a link to version control.
Please add a link to version control for this mod and i will make it a thumbs up.
while this arguably comes close to falling to a convert to thread and tell the author to file a bug report/use a normal thread, not going to. however in terms of this being a learning experience:
How can i see how it evolves over time
you can view the releases for the package bottom right corner (on desktop). this is also available via the api (iirc)
or report issues
use a normal thread (tbh, what this should have been), or message the user on [pick a platform there on]
Please add a link to version control for this mod
while i support this, i dont support what comes after..........
i will make it a thumbs up.
this is kinda not good/toxic(for lack of a better word coming to mind rn) tbh, aka do what i want, else i will just leave this review up (at least not hurting) and not make it positive (till you do what i want) isnt really the best......
I don't think this site is a good replacement for proper version control systems. In addition in downloading this mod it managed to extract the files in the worldmods folder, instead of in its own directory. since i am not used to having to unzip code, this was not forseable. with version control systems, you typically get a folder anyway, when you do a clone, this would make the situation easily avoidable.
I am not being toxic i think thats is the wrong word, i am leaving it as neutral as so as to show criteque without damaging the reputation of the author.
Critique is how we grow, as developers.
I am saying well done, but it could use some improvement on development practices.
this is valuable cretique.
