i am not sure why everyone is hating on it, it was a nice game, when i played it i just needed something to do, it was a simple but commitable mission, i liked how the drill needed to recharge every so often, and i liked the gravity affect, it created a sense of realism, what did you expect haters? its the moon for heavens sake! not xaenviroment! of corse there are only four nodes, once again its the moon, from what i have seen, there is nothing saying this is supposed to be an adventure game, it is meant to be purely educational, not entertaining. not only that, it created an easy to use game base, which can be used to place a structure on air in a game, which i intend on using in in my next game. ----ps i hate it when everyone just hates on something at the same time, its just unreasonable and unnececary.
I'm glad you liked it and found inspiration for your own game. Against the competition in the Game Jam, this definitely didn't hold up. But I tried to be innovative with the mechanics, even if I failed a bit at making an entertaining game.
i am almost finished with my first game :) the problum with it is, that the core mod, your mapgen base (the essential engine of the game.) is licenced as "AGPL-3.0-or-later " which i had to reread more than five times before i kind of understood it. my understanding of the licence is (you can use it, as long as it goes unedited) is my understanding correct? if so does the mod.conf count? i slightly edited the "mod.conf" file to add more dependencies if the config does not count as code, i tecnically did not violate this copyright law. what do you think my friend? does mod.conf count as code?
Affero GPL (AGPL) is GPL but with one additional restriction. GPL is basically a sharing licence. If you share code from Secrets of the Moon with others, they have to have the right to read and modify the code themselves too. But since when you play on a server, it doesn't automatically share the code, GPL lets you keep mods "secret" on your server. I don't feel like this is in the spirit of sharing, so I used AGPL for SotM.
Affero GPL's extra restriction is that if you use a modified version of the mod on a server, you need to publish it somewhere online, like GitHub. If you don't modify it, there's no need to share a copy just for using it. And no, I wouldn't count mod.conf as a modification, though some people might view it that way, so it's good you asked.

I hope your game project goes well :)
