I think, that this mod is a special Idea, but it would be better, if the mod has not only 2 Elements.
The Blocks have to colors, but what mean the color ? The Element-Group? And do you want to add all 118 Elements?
We are both working on the mod as part of Open Learning Quest. We also welcome other contributions, including ideas for how these blocks can be used for educational purposes. Feel free to drop by the GitHub project and send us a message :-)
Thank you for the kind words! As Brylie has mentioned, we are planning to add all 118 elements and I am making all the textures and putting them into the game in form of blocks. And again, as Brylie mentioned, the colours have been made to match certain meanings of the periodic table. But an obvious issue is that you can't tell in which group each element belongs in inside the game, which is why we have thought of making a kind of tutorial book (in game) explaining the meanings of the colours and a short description of each element, like the atomic and proton number and a little info about it.
I am not very familiar with lua and minetests specific documentation, so any help with that would be fantastic, like making a functional book with pictures and information on it, as well as buttons on the book to lead to an element's description, etc.
But check out the GitHub issues on the repo to see what you can help out with!
Ok, sorry you have to wait so long for an answer. I've been busy with other very important things. I'd like to make an in-game book. But I need a bit more information. Should it be in the form of an item that you can right-click and read? Should it maybe be done via chat? What should be shown on the pictures?

Yes, that is next on the project roadmap: https://github.com/OpenLearningQuest/minetest_periodic_elements/issues/1
The block colors are based on element sets: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_for_sets_of_chemical_elements
Thank you for the information! I can help you to add more Elements, if it is ok.
I don't understant who is working on this mod. The Pack is ResendeTech's. Is it your 2. acount?
