I like the mobs but always seems to crash and there are posted errors that haven't been responded to since early 2023. I think this mod is no longer supported or maintained
How so? This is a constant even when Mobs Redo, Living Caves and Living Cave Mobs are the only mods active:

I did and no one responded after 2 weeks and there are others that there has been no response for about a year making the repor feature ineffective.
github shows the author is still to a degree active, additionally looking at your issue, the error does not seem to match your claim
