One of the most confusing things about this community is the overwhelming usage of this mod. It's a prime example of the worst and yet most common trope of Minetest modding, bloat. It seems every mod has to be full to the brim with useless and low quality content, and while this does have unique features amongst farming mods, like pots and pans, or the terellis and bean poles that add an extra element to farming and cooking, it seems that in this pursuit of having a bunch of different foods and equipment hasn't left much time for making those foods worth the effort besides filling up a bar slightly more than something else, and that isn't even the worst part of this mod. The art is awful. From very familiar assets to the clashing of 32x and 16x textures, this mods art looks like something out of a 3rd grade arts and crafts class. This mod would greatly benefit from a pause on new content and a overhaul of all art assets, preferably assets that aren't stolen and modified.
Farming Redo has been added to by myself and players alike, and while I'm not the best artist I will accept textures from anyone who submits to the mod and would like a specific food item added.
@ElCeejo How many mods did you put your time and effort into creating? How much did you pay for Minetest or this mod? Are you a professional artist? If you're not happy with the mod, how about posting your suggestions/requests for making changes to it in a positive way, and appreciating that TenPlus1, as with many other Minetest contributors, spend time and do their best to create resources which most players enjoy using, and all of this is available to us for free. Perhaps buying Minecraft and playing that would better suit you... then you can complain to Microsoft if things are not to your liking... and see how far you get in convincing them to change stuff to suit your "requirements". I don't necessarily like everything about all mods, but do you know what I do then? I politely post some ideas in the Minetest forums or ask the modder if they might consider adding/changing some features or aspects of the mod... or... since Minetest and all mods are opensource... I TRY TO CHANGE IT MYSELF! Did you try to get up off your high chair and "fix" the mod yourself, if it is so bad as you make it out to be? Obviously you must be a professional artist, so why don't you redo the farming mod with your Picasso masterpiece textures? Don't mind me... I'm just thinking out loud.
There are some things I agree with ElCeejo, I feel like there are a few to many items.
Anyways, I understand that TenPlus says he is not the best artist, so I decided I would help you out :)
A mod this popular deserves it, I will be making new textures for you :)
wrote a comment disagreeing with elceejo and he got me kicked off contentdb so it looks like we gotta be careful what we say.
I banned you because you look a lot like a spammer/ someone's alt - you created a load of low-effort reviews in a small amount of time, heavily biased towards tenplus1's mods
Maybe I was wrong there, but please spend some more time on reviews in the future
that was my dad so I joined here to write some nice things about all the mods we played with but got banned when they wrote bad things about yours and I stuck up for you. sorry
@flemtone1 - I did get to read your messages, thanks for the kind words. As for my mods, they stand on their own merits so if players want to use them that's great, if not then there's plenty of other mods to check out. That's the beauty of playing Minetest :)
Well, if you don't like most of the content that the author created for this mod - then don't use it. The best solution would be to make the necessary edits in the code of the mod, to bring to the view that actually want to get. In general, I am grateful to TenPlus1 for a great mod.
Personally, I have never found TenPlus1 mods to possess conflicting graphical resources or even bloat. I opine (believe) the very term "bloat" here comes from the Arch/Gentoo "[GNU/]Linux" fanbase that really enjoys boiling, burning the abstraction layers down to the very bottom, until only a dark layer of cracky caramel remains -- and they! O, do they boast its apparent "lightweightedness", sacrificing... like, everything? cuz i don't really know, their computers appear ugly, coquettish and uncoy
i include farming redo in my every MTG survival world to have fun with my friends in, with little to no exceptions (unless i lose focus and forget about food whatsoever while selecting mods)
TenPlus1's mods are simply little, cute and functional just like TenPlus1 him/her/it/themself :3
but since you, guys/girls, mentioned it, i likely won't get it out of my head any soon; that's why i may as well satiate my artistic hunger and draw better textures where I believe they would be necessary~~~ xoxoxo (merry christmas!)

I was wondering why I had 41 messages when I signed on, almost had a heart attack thinking something was wrong :)
Note: I do remember a player 'flemtone' that I assisted in setting up their own server, be you they ?
