Thank you so much for this. My only wish now would be for someone to create a repository of useful code snippets for chat commands and other functions commonly used /needed by server admins in one place to peruse. Perhaps such a thing already exists and I haven't found it yet? I shall continue my exploration armed with this wonderful tool.
Oh, that's right. I forgot Petz was deprecated. Fair enough. I see your points on the other issues. They were just some ideas I had off the top of my head. You're right though, I should just go ahead and make a decorative block mod of some sort for the splatter effect or something like that. I still like like what your mod does though. I just don't know if everyone on my server would be as appreciative as I am. Thanks for responding so readily. Have a good day! :)
Edit: The ghosts and skeletons no longer cause blood splatter. This mod is great!
I tested it out awhile on my single player world. But opted not to add it to my server at this time. Some players like the gore and some don't so I would like to see an option that allows the players to toggle on or off whether they see the blood splatters. Kind of the way xp_redo has the hud off and on option. Also, ghosts spilling blood seems kind of weird so it would be good to toggle the feature off for certain mobs. Also, coming from Minecraft, I saw a lot of builds in which people used redstone to simulate blood splatters. Searching for a way to do that without having to use Mineclone2 is kind of what brought me here and allowed me to find this mod in the first place. For that reason, I wouldn't mind if there was a way to make some of the blood splatters permanent for the ambient effect in certain builds. Mesecons just don't look the same as redstone when used in that way haha. But yeah, it's a cool concept for people who like a little gore in their game. Just a few tweaks that I think might make it better. Oh, one other thing, support for petz mobs would also be a good addition if possible. They didn't do blood splatters when I was testing in my singleplayer world.
This is now my go to mod for working with schematic files . The tools and interface are so intuitive and easy to use. This just works, right out of the box.
Yes! I have interacted with one of these on the Your Land server and have to say that an actual shop keeper NPC that can produce items for it's own inventory if it has materials available and causes less lag on the server than other shop interfaces is a brilliant addition .
Coming from the world of that other voxel game I was so relieved to see a WorldEdit for Minetest too. It offers the tools I need to get things set up and working for my world in record time. Thank you so much!
Are you sure you installed it correctly? If you're not using a /worldmods folder you might have to edit world.mt and load the mod there. Check for spelling errors and typos.
Before, I was posting a bounty and asking players to mine out and turn in any unknown blocks they come across for a reward. A process that was both time consuming and irritating. Now, my admins and I can simply got to the location and issue a command to make the ugliness go away. We still offer a reward for people who discover deposits of them and let us know though. But this way is so much nicer. Thank you! :)
Will do! Thanks man, also I tried out that GGraffiti mod for the decorative splatter effects as you suggested and it works great too!
You're absolutely right! I did have them confused at first. Thank you for clarifying and for all the work you do on making Minetest better! :-)

Edit: Ah! I found it. https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?t=18473&start=75

Alas, unfortunately that's all the ideas I had. Sorry I couldn't help.
Okay, but maybe it's installed but not enabled ? Go to your select mods tab and see if the checkmark is on next to the remove_unknowns mod.
