I was playing this game, and I quite liked it. It worked fine, there were no glitches, it was enjoyable. I get to the second phase, mine some stuff, and a creeeper spawns. I didn't have a large island, and didn't notice it at first, so the creeper blows up, taking all my stuff with it. This is mostly on me, as I could have reacted, or made a better island, but the creator could have forseen how creepers were a bad idea on islands. This is fine. The part that irked me was that when you respawn, you do not spawn on the block. Why would you spawn on the only indestructible block incase a creeper blows up your spawn area, or if you accidently dig it? I fall, lose my stuff I managed to slavage when I spawn, respawn, fall again. This one mob instantly ruined the game. While I acknowlage that the fault is partly on me, having creepers spawn is a huge danger, and not spawning on the indestructible oneblock is a huge blunder. I am hesitant to even start a new world, as the same thing could happen again. It's not losing my items that's the problem, it's the fact that the world is entirely lost, with no way to rebuild, simply because I cannot respawn.
I highly reccomend this as a alternate to Minecraft if you want a very close replica.
Despite some missing features I would like (like creepers{I refuse to call them stalkers} dropping disks, and fishing giving treasure, especially with enchantments) this is a very good replica featuring alot of the features Minecraft contains, and has the core mechanics. For anybody wanting to know if they'd like Minecraft, or want a free alternative, this is great. My only gripes are mainly things like fishing not giving other items, fishing rods not pulling mobs nor having a string, but mainly the mob AI. The goddamn mobs all walk extrememly oddly, and if you have a bunch of livestock in a fence, they all walk into the same directions, slowly walking into each wall, which kills all the children becuase they grow up and glitch into a wall. I've also noticed iron golems spend most of their life in a river if the village is near one.
Great Game, Poor Judgement
