I especially like the concept of gradually porting Minecraft experience to Minetest.

We are currently working on remaking the Mobs API, so we won't work on these features for now - for some of them, there are already mods and we are working on integrating them.
I have good news for you: The algorithm that determines the nether portal spawn has been reworked recently. In the next release this will be much better.
Everything you mentioned, except "make shulker box alble to stcik at walls", is actually beyond MineClone2's target. We aim to imitate Minecraft Java Edition 1.12, and the features you mentioned are all from newer versions. There have been developments for features from newer versions tho, check out https://git.minetest.land/MineClone2/MineClone2/src/branch/mineclone5.

You can actually configure the key that is used for the player list, but it needs to be one of the keys minetest "knows" about. (up, down, left, right, jump, aux1, sneak, dig, place or zoom)
While I like the pink details, I think coloring entire nodes like water or sand is overding it a bit, in a way looks unnatural.

Something like that could be done using mods. I don't see a reason to put it into the main game.

The wither boss does not spawn in MineClone2 yet, but it will in the next update.

You can actually disable hostile mobs by setting only_peaceful_mobs to true.

This mod is no longer maintained. End Crystals are now part of MineClone2 itself. You can remove the mod.
