I checked everything and I could not come to a conclusion on why the mod still requires mobkit API and such.
Mobs Redo expressly said not to run APIs in palleral unless it's supported which is why this a major turn off for me that it will not "plug" into the API.
I do understand your only trying to help and I appreicate that however this mod doesn't appears to explain what limitations are even in place in the code itself. As configurable options appears not be provided yet?
Crashed on my server upon doing /seeplayerinfo or whatever it was on 5.3. Seeing as the mod was unattended for so long (over a year) it's may be unmaintained at least currently?
In short there is uncontained pistion cycling and it was left for many months before it recieved the attention that the fact it's a offical bug and queuned for 1.3 iteration of the mod. Source/Proof:https://github.com/minetest-mods/mesecons/issues/499
Hopefully the mod maintainers will be attending and fix these considerably more promptly as possible. Given at the current rate I see it a serious concern for servers.
Expendable, simple to use and reliable. What's more to say about a protection mod I am right? Additionally as this is their mod you can most certainly be assured they will be there for any concerns or bugs that may arise. :)
I just used it a lot yesterday and I love it! Plus the fact as you are using this author's mod they are very dependable so it can safely be used on servers knowing it will works and if not they will be there to address any concerns/bugs.
One of the few if not only existing author that takes their mods seriously to ensure critical bugs are fixed promptly. If your a serious server admin like me, you can't go wrong with their mods' collection and the fact that prompt support is normally provided to boot. :)

Thanks like that? Sorry but I was given that link after I copied (highlighted) the link in question and clicked the "chain icon".
Title says all, a great choice for servers where stable and quality code is most needed.
I agree! Very dependable too even on Smart Inventory even though it's not on the list of providers I don't think?
