This is a really nice mod that realistically simulates tree growth. I wish there was an option to make the default trees also drop the dynamic sapplings as well, though.
In a nutshell, Mineclone 2 is the BEST clone I've ever played! Actually, I think it's superior in many ways. Sure, the world may only be 61,000 x 61,000, but that's still a lot of map. And Minecraft's mere three-hundred something build limit is nothing compared to the 31k limit we have. Also, the game runs so much smoother! So much so that I can use Minetest's shaders while getting 60 FPS on a 7 yr old budget laptop.
My only gripe is that it doesn't seem to properly support wielded_light (dropped torches and stuff don't light their surroundings), and doesn't fully work with the Skygen mod.
I am certainly excited to see where development goes!
Hello! I noticed that when I installed Nodeverse (v0.3.1) that the game didn't look at all like what the screenshots showed. Then I realized that nv_universe was not packaged, but it was in the previous version (v0.3.0). I would like to know the reason/rationale behind this. Thanks in advance! :D
I'm quite impressed with this mod! This is a must-have for me! Unfortunately, the leaves don't seem to decay (but it might be they don't decay when placed, and I use the clump fall mod). But besides that, this is probably the best biome mod out there! :D
The texture bug happened again. I checked debug.txt, but I didn't find much, except for the errors, and a lot of warnings for some of my other mods.
Here's what I was doing: I was playing Minetest Survival. I placed down a torch in a cave (from the offhand), then quickly swapped it for my ladders, combined a stack of 90-ish and 3 torches, then swapped again. That's when the texture bug happened. I equiped my stone pickaxe, then I saw this error: ERROR[Main]: generateImage(): Could not load image "?(T@default)Stone Pickaxe?E" while building texture; Creating a dummy image
(I'll include a list of all the mods I was using at the time on the forum)
I can't seem to reproduce the texture bug. I think it was a compatibility issue with the "What Is This? UwU" mod. Oh, and I found a new bug! The game crashes whenever I try to put a source block (like lava, not the bucket, the source block) into my offhand. I'll put the error on the fourm.
This mod basically shows a simplified version of what is shown in the F5 menu. Besides that, and that sometimes part of the ui goes to where my offhand icon should be (I use the offhand mod), this is a great mod!
edit: the mod won't stop covering up my entire screen, so until that's fixed, I will not be using this mod :(
This is a really good mod. However, it uses the same key as the stamina mod, so when you try to sprint (I use the stamina mod). However, this mod lets you to change your offhand key to one of the other controls (I use the zoom key). There is a bug where if a liquid source block is sent to the offhand key, then you get softlocked (I assume that one can clear inventory manually to be able to play in the world again). Other than that, this is a great offhand mod! :D
Edit: The bug has been fixed. Thanks for the quick response! :)
Thank you, @bell07, for your help. After adding builtin_item as an optional dependency, it works. Also, I found a bug where if a droped item lands in a liquid or something else like grass, a plant, a flower, etc, then the item stops emiting light until it gets out.
This is probably the best mod of it's kind! Unfortunately, items such as torches, don't emit light when there are more than 4 mods enabled (not counting the default Minetest mods and Wielded light). I would appreciate if this was fixed.
Edit: Builtin Item can be used with this mod. You just need to add Builtin item as a optional dependency.

It's simply beautiful. I don't have much to say. I do wish it worked in Mineclone2 though.

Does wielded_light support Mineclone2? I noticed that dropped torches don't light up, and builtin_item doesnt seem to be supported for Mineclone2
I remember there being a custom inventory screen (I think it kinda looked like a scroll or somethin). But maybe I'm remembering wrong...
What happened to the inventory screen? It just looks like MTG default now...

I'll update the review to be relevant. I assumed it was this mod since it said "builtin" XD Anyways, thank you for the info! :)
This mod really should come with MTG by default! Yes, it's that good! :D This mod improves dropped items and makes said items act more realistically!

It looks nice. But, what do I do with the furniture leg? I can't get it out of my inventory, making the game unplayable :(
The subtitles are very helpful. However, I find the text too large (like size 20-30 point?) Besides that, this is a good mod.

CPS stands for Clicks Per Second
After some testing, I disabled Animalia, Creatura, and Builtin item. After I did this, Wielded Light works again. Thank you for the quick response.
I dropped a torch and let it be for over a minute, and nothing happens. At least it emits light when I hold it.
