Dont look at it as if you are interacting with it like any other block, you are picking it up. The only thing you can do after you pick it up is place it back down.
With right click you interact with items/tools/block inventoies and other things in the world. Shift-RIGHT-click, as to say "yes interact with this, but in a different way", which in this case is to pick it up.
idk, maybe you can look at it my way.
What I may do in the future is make it so that your movement is slowed down depending on how much stuff is in the block_inventories.. so like if there are lots of stuff in it, best you can do is place it down somewhere else within your reach but not be able to move around (just coming up with ideas here).
got you, ill add a toggle option for auto corners.
I plan on changing it so that auto placing corners will need a more aggressive angle from the player, so maybe that can also be helpfull if not toggled off.
allow for changing the rotation of outer/inner stairs... not bad idea.
during development i was actaully deeply testing with the storage drawers mod(really slowed down development, because i thought it was just not working) but yea i could not figure out how to "properly" get it working.
ill keep trying things out, see if i can figure it out.
yup those are things that i plan to take care of. if you check the description block animation when picking up & placing down. that should take care of that visual delay.
hmm just tested it.. and no it does not work. mineclonia must be overriding something.
checked mineclonia code it is indeed overriding.. it's to do with the offhand like for when placing torches.. etc.
which means that any other mod that adds offhand/dual wield support may also break this mod.
being holding on to the 1.0.5 release, was gathering some feedback and in that release by default only stairs and slabs will preview. 99% chance i submit the 1.0.5 release sometime today.
Initialy the intention of the mod was to just preview stairs and slabs, as placing them was a gussing game.
maybe for the 1.0.6 release ill add some blacklist system.

Just fixed the issue, install the new 1.0.8 release.
ok should be patched now with the 1.0.5 release.
i'll see what i can do.
i just wanna make sure the things i put out there actaully work. so any feedback is always welcome.
btw, i don't think ill be able to patch that function of the worm farm.
ok i missed the part about the "worm farm". subminted another patch 1.0.4 that should fix that.
you should be able to place any held storage container in water now.
so i figured it out, do keep an eye out for the next update.

could you post a link to the protection mods you are using. i tested the mods "Smart Shop" and "Areas".
