You are right, lv solar generator is hard. On the other hand, I think using hydroelectric generator is too easy.
Maybe I can give higher-tier solar equip. Also I keep thinking of better energy storage, i. e. redox flow cells which don´t exist in technic.

When I join a server that is using technic mod, I don´t get instructions either. But maybe, for a game, things should be more self-explanatory. I will give it a try as soon as I have made my way through the other things you mentioned.
Yes, this game is far from finished, I started late and could not finish the core concepts (more on this hopefully soon)!

good idea, I added support for tieless tracks. You can open settings now to change the tracks and users can also disable tunnelmaker.
