Have you ever went out to explore a cave and returned with your back packs full of several different minerals? This is the mod for you: place a hopper on top of a furnace, and another on the side. This will allow you to place coal on the side one and the raw minerals at the top and they will be filled very quick. Add another hopper at the bottom of the furnace to a chest and the cooked items will be stored.
I like this inventory as it is a swiss army knife inventory that has everything you would need, with a broad mod support.
I would, however, allow some sections to be accessed separatedly, as well as allow for a better experience in mobile phones, i.e., be more wide than tall, and potentially use less vertical space parhaps. Text for bags, and the bottom icons are very small on my phone screen.
I use this as the default inventory on my server, as it has the best support overall.
This mod adds amazing new challenges for your survival gameplay. Dragons are a next-level challenge, and you can progress into a Dragon master who breeds your own dragons, wearing the most powerful armor in game.
Loved to play it and it makes a great starting point
While I understand some people frustration from the fact that Minetest Game is monotous, it serves a pourpose indeed: it is that it is more of exploration, construction and a peacefull mode of gameplay rather than the actual survival one.
Rebranding as Minetest Creative could eventually fix it. The fact that it lacks the survival experience indeed pushes away a lot of people, but this is trivially fixed by browsing Content DB. Perhaps some invite to do so at the home page of the menu could be more interesting so the popularity ranks by Content DB could fix the push-back somehwat easily.
It does also serves as a base to invite you to mod it. To me the fact it lacks stuff made me into the whole modding part so it is a good thing from that perspective.
Overall, I like the concept, idea and implementation!
Very interesting mod for simple automations

Simple and functional.
My go-to inventory in Minetest

Amazing mobs, immersive gameplay

Makes the server very diverse in terms of biomes
The added nodes, biomes and ores are a great enhancement, specially for MTG. I use at the Mercurio server and it is just great!
Loved the idea!
Super easy way to create formspecs.
