It has been a while but today while updating my server mods I decided to dig deeper into this. The issue to me seems to be that \160 as a lua string does not equates to the UTF-8 non-breaking whitespace.
I did a little trick printing that char in python and copying it to the lua file and voilá. No errors anymore on client.
Sent a PR, kindly update the mod when you have a chance.
I'm using this library in my Server News package (ronoaldo/minenews), and version 2.0 seems to break it for my Brazilian Portuguese files that I have hosted with my server. These were working fine in version 1.3.
Have you ever went out to explore a cave and returned with your back packs full of several different minerals? This is the mod for you: place a hopper on top of a furnace, and another on the side. This will allow you to place coal on the side one and the raw minerals at the top and they will be filled very quick. Add another hopper at the bottom of the furnace to a chest and the cooked items will be stored.
I like this inventory as it is a swiss army knife inventory that has everything you would need, with a broad mod support.
I would, however, allow some sections to be accessed separatedly, as well as allow for a better experience in mobile phones, i.e., be more wide than tall, and potentially use less vertical space parhaps. Text for bags, and the bottom icons are very small on my phone screen.
I use this as the default inventory on my server, as it has the best support overall.
This mod adds amazing new challenges for your survival gameplay. Dragons are a next-level challenge, and you can progress into a Dragon master who breeds your own dragons, wearing the most powerful armor in game.
The package is outdated from the git master branch. Can you please release an updated version or setup ContentDB so that id does this and publish a new release?
While I understand some people frustration from the fact that Minetest Game is monotous, it serves a pourpose indeed: it is that it is more of exploration, construction and a peacefull mode of gameplay rather than the actual survival one.
Rebranding as Minetest Creative could eventually fix it. The fact that it lacks the survival experience indeed pushes away a lot of people, but this is trivially fixed by browsing Content DB. Perhaps some invite to do so at the home page of the menu could be more interesting so the popularity ranks by Content DB could fix the push-back somehwat easily.
It does also serves as a base to invite you to mod it. To me the fact it lacks stuff made me into the whole modding part so it is a good thing from that perspective.
Overall, I like the concept, idea and implementation!

This is a sample file that breaks the rendering: https://github.com/ronoaldo/mercurio/blob/94d82aeaec736de1503b022aeac6a02e364b5ea1/news/news_pt_BR.md
I'm posting this here because I could not find any other way to submit issues on the Github repo.
Thanks for the work on this mod.

Simple and functional.
Do you have the modified source code available? I would like to propose some changes as well :)
Makes sense. Thanks for the follow up!

The added nodes, biomes and ores are a great enhancement, specially for MTG. I use at the Mercurio server and it is just great!
Super easy way to create formspecs.
