Melterns is an in-development mod for Luanti 5.6.0+ that adds molten metals, melting, casting and creating tools.
This mod is inspired by the Tinkers Construct mod for Minecraft, however it's a bit less-featured due to technical limitations and general lack of polish. None of the code or assets used in this mod have been taken from TC - everything is my original creation.
- Combine different materials to make unique tools using the Pattern Table, Part Builder and Tool Station.
- Melt down your raw ores and get double the ingots using the Multifurnace!
- ..or use your molten metals to cast better tool parts.

hi im newly found out about meltern mod and elepower mod and to me its pretty cool and i hope in future there will be something like modifier on the weapon, for example added mesecon modifier can increase +1 or +2 damage and adding obsidian can increase durability etc, and it will be more awesome if player not allowed to craft weapon and tools above wodden and stone just with regular method and must access multifurnace first. and i want to ask some question too
first how to get lava inside heated tank?, because im right click it or hold right click it with bucket of lava and nothing happen
second is elepower pump can transfer lava into the heated tank?
thats my question im really thankful if you can help me with that
Faithful port of Tinkers Construct
Perhaps a bit too faithful -- do we really need all those pop-up GUIs? I'd have preferred NodeCore/Age-Of-Mending -style "just puch the block" interfaces, but I guess tastes vary.
Nice system but overpowered tools (for minetest)
A stone pickaxe with a stone handle is as fast and durable as a vanilla diamond pickaxe.
