That mod will help you rename, repair and color your tools naturally!
To color your item, place the dye in the middle input, after you put tool in left input, and take your item from right output. "Update" button for updating the output item and total interface in the anvil! To rename your item, just put item in the left input, and name item in textbox and take it from right output. Also You can repair your instrument, out your tool broken in input slot and then put similiar tool in modifier slot, (middle) but tool must be a bit bigger broken, than tool in input slot!
Missed the point of an anvil altogether
By taking away the hammer you made something else entirely, Not a better anvil.
I bet they WERE better
I believe this mod is broken now, so unfortunate. By the sounds of it, they WERE endeed better in many aspects but, I suppose, harder to maintain. Even harder when the only revews you get are form dummys hyperfocused on a mere lack or hammers, ignoring all that it has(had) to offer. I hope this mod gets fixed someday but, of course, It depends on the developer's motivation.
Missed the point
I agree with DanielSnow, an anvil is a chunk of heavy metal you can pound stuff on,. You made a machine but you did not improve any anvils :)
