This is a modifed version of the firealarm mod found on VE Dreambuilder servers, mainly changing item names (for better readability) and sounds.
NOTE: This mod is backwards-compatible with the original mod.
Features #
- Fire Panel: Lets you manage smoke detectors, alarms, and triggers from one location.
- Remote Fire Panel: Manage a regular fire panel from far away.
- Fire Alarm: Plays a sound, while flashing a light. (Also known as a horn/strobe alarm)
- Fire Alarm (Lights Only): Same as a regular alarm, except it doesn't make any sound.
- Buzzer Fire Alarm: This is similar to the regular fire alarm, except it plays a buzzing sound and has a light with "FIRE" written on it.
- Smoke Detector: Detects smoke. It requires confirmation on a fire panel to set off alarms.
- Pull Station: Sets off alarm when pulled. Similar to the smoke detector, it requires confirmation.
Changing Sounds #
If you want a different sound for the fire alarm, go to mods/firealarm/firealarm_hornstrobe/sounds. Then, you can rename the sound you want to use to firealarm_horn.ogg (sounds must use .ogg format).
