Varies depending on how busy staff are and how many packages are sitting in the review queue.
The modname blood has already been taken by the "Blood Hud!" mod (see here). You can rename it to blood_splatter, or something else that wouldn't conflict with another mod.
I think with 200 downloads it's irrelevant. Further it's not even on ContentDB. You literally can't install it through the Minetest UI. Might add better screen splashes myself.
Approve it already. Of those 200 downloads, how many are unique users? How many of those unique users are still using that mod from the forum post? Of those how many are going to install my mod? 0 ZERO NONE I tell you.
The right to a name policy does not consider number of downloads, just whether it has been posted. Also, SurviveTest has been downloaded almost 10,000 times and includes blood hud
I wasted the entire fucking day on your bullshit. Instead of just being able to upload it, I was forced to use a git. Had to find a suitable git because Github is owned by Microsoft and Codeberg doesn't allow content that glorifies violence. Then the confirmation email didn't work but all other emails from the same address arrived fine because mail.ru is retarded. Afterwards I had to learn git and now I'm stuck talking to literal Wikipedians.
I could have been productive and writing code but no.
You where informed that a review "Varies depending on how busy staff are and how many packages are sitting in the review queue". We do this of our own free time and effort, not paid, etc. frankly being controversial isnt going to make someone giving up there own time to be here want to help more in an adverse situation. regarding "I wasted the entire fucking day on your bullshit", you can upload to cdb and not use git (however is the most common given most people do use it for source control). the additional factors appear to be outside our control.
Mentioned nowhere and not obvious from looking at the package creation screen at all.
We do this of our own free time and effort
It's not me who wants to waste your time reviewing my mod. Other modding platforms like Nexusmods do not gatekeep mods with pre-publishing reviews. I think the whole concept of pre-publish reviews is retarded. You're still not finished after 17 hours now and referring to the review queue. Makes me think you're not reviewing it on purpose because you think of yourselfs as some higher beings and feel self-important, now that I dared to mentioned it.
It's not me who wants to waste your time reviewing my mod.
The time spent on mod reviews is not "wasted"; it is necessary to nip some issues in the bud before they arise, and it worked well here: Without the review, you would have released the mod under a name that was already in use.
There have also been plenty of other mods with issues that got caught in review. It is especially useful to try to catch copyright (and other legal) issues before there is a formal complaint.
Either way, I don't think the review system is up for debate.
You're still not finished after 17 hours now and referring to the review queue.
You're being very impatient. Waiting a few days for your mod to be reviewed is normal.
How long does review usually take?
Varies depending on how busy staff are and how many packages are sitting in the review queue.

How do I rename my git repo using git? (The remote repo on gitgud)
I renamed it.
Hey, I did what you asked for!

Let me add my opinion as a modder.
