Jeez, Civilfall is really a troll. Not constructive, not helpful, offensive.
I like Mineclonia, the only issue(s) I have is that I am lost in which addons are compatible and which not.
The labels in ContentDB are not accurate, the description does not tell... But I guess that's something to fix in ContentDB.
IIUC, Mineclonia uses different block labels and item labels for some reason. Which makes a lot of Minetest mods incompatible.
Not sure if that's on purpose, but figuring out which mods to apply and expect them to work is quite tedious.
I looked at the Lua code and I admire the devs for having the patience to work with this language / paradigm.
Server performance: Our world has already 10000 x 10000 cubes and the performance is okay-ish (on a rather weak server).
Local performance is great. I do not measure FPS but it is fluent.
Features: I am no advanced player, I play with my 2 kids and their friends ("Ada's easy server"). We don't do contraptions (yet), we want to do stuff manually and decorate places. But when my daughter tries something she has seen Minecraft videos, it works. So, no complaint here either.

I use it for our family server. I was looking for an open-source alternative to a popular game, and found it in Mineclonia. My daughter loves it!
By the way: Clicking on "Donate" takes me to donation to Codeberg, not Mineclonia specifically. Is that intentional?
